Girls Creating Games

Girls Creating Games is an after-school program developed by the Research and Training department at Education, Training and Research Associates (ETR) in collaboration with the a middle school, a comunity-based agency and UC-Santa Cruz.

This program aims to promote and increase girls' skills and interest in information technologies. Activities include computer game design (using Flash), pair programming, identity exploration and mentoring from female adult role models.

The learned lessons are very interesting. Check them as well as some of games developed.
