I found a interesting math game site that utilizes shockwave. It is from Britain and addresses their national standards for math. It is set up in levels to meet the needs of the learner based on their ability level. What I find most interesting is that most games and math software fail in the feedback department. The programs tell you when you are wrong, but they do not explore the options on how to get a problem right. I realize that it is expensive on the part of companies to address feedback because there can be many variables that are time and money consuming. However in the world of a single user on a computer feedback is a critical element.
The site is The Maths File Game Show.
