Frog dissection has been an indispensible part of biology class. However, back in 1994, a program called "Net Frog" was first created by Richard Strauss, Jean Foss, and Mable Kinzie and later developed into an online tutorial as a valuable preparation tool or even a useful substitute for laboratory dissection.
This may not be anything today, but back to 1994, when many softwares did not exist, this was quite something at that time! Actually, the "Net Frog" was one of the first educational simulations on the Internet.
The site has been much improved with advanced multimedia softwares in 2002 and now becomes "Net Frog: The Digital Dissection" with movies, images, texts, interactive exercises, and relevant research findings.
