I had the pleasure to meet Nikos, a professional trainer for "The Director in the Classroom". I just completed a two day training course at the County Ed Office. The gist of the training was to bring movie production to the classroom so that students would take their knowledge about a subject, use higher order thinking skills, and transform that knowledge into a new media.
