Second Life Article
Back in May of 2006 Business Week ran a story about the online community Second Life. From a woman who has made $250,000 buy and selling virtual land to a stay at home father who makes $2,000 a week selling animations of residents (players) hugging and cuddling, the potential for financial gain is incredible. The article also briefly explores the potential ways that some companies are using this type of virtual community for online training and community building.
