It's that time of year again: EDTEC 670 is yawning and stretching after a nine-month nap. This year is unusual: we have more students in the online section than on campus. This should make for some different and interesting dynamics.
Also new this year: a more formalized project based on Second Life. This will be an opportunity to closely examine the affordances of SL and come up with learning activities that aren't just glitz.
I'm directing the campus section and webcasting the presentations to the distance students. Karl Richter is in charge of the distance section, and Cathy Arreguin will be on board for her Second Life expertise during October and November. The Dream Team!
